How do I remove the inner burr from the grinder?

The inner burr mill is held on by a black insert that is threaded onto the axle. It can be difficult to unscrew the burr with your bare hand so we came up with this handy method for loosening the burr.

Turn the grinder to setting 1. Remove the glass catcher and place the grinder upside down on your knee with the palm of your left hand pressing down onto the burr. Use your right hand to turn the handle counter clockwise. Apply downward force using your left hand to ensure the burr does not turn as you turn the handle.

As soon as you are able to turn the handle without the burr moving then the burr and insert should be loose enough to unscrew with your fingers.
